I wonder how many Pets at Home they visited? I agree - some independents near me are pretty awful too. But it's good that the conditions are at least being highlighted- most people probably aren't aware/don't really think about it.
Oooh! - Watchdog next week are going to do a feature on the condition of tanks at Pets at home - they trailed a clip of a tank of fish with a dead fish floating in it. At last someone has paid some attention to what many people on this forum have been saying for a long time
It's one free copy OR 3 copies for ?3. They reel you in (sorry for the pun) with the free offer and then catch you with the 3 for ?3 which is much cheaper than the cover price if you buy it in the shops for about ?4 I think!
Not sure if I'm allowed to post this - but I got an e-mail offering me a free copy of PFK magazine (I cancelled my sub a while back). It's a genuine offer as I have taken it up.
If you call 0845 2867724 you can claim a free copy and they will ask if you want three copies for ?3 (but you must cancel your direct debit after this payment otherwise they will assume you wish to continue).
Not a bad offer if you want to try out the magazine?
Sorry for the delay in replying. Love ALL the photos - doesn't the 260 look good? Love it!
It's really hard to tell but I imagine the Clowns have indeed grown - they were fairly robust when I had them They certainly love their food.
Still miss them - but we're unsettled here at the moment so it's good they're with you. Our move has fallen through (mainly due to Mr F's health and my ability to cope) but we are selling our flat and the guy buying is going to rent it to us which will help a lot when we do get round to moving!
Haven't been on hear much because life has been so hectic. Mr F is doing magnificently and I can also report that not only have I managed to get a full time permanent job offer, I will also be re-locating to sunny Warwickshire (somewhere near Leamington Spa hopefully!).
Currently under offer with the flat and now looking for somewhere to buy. Very very very glad that the clown loaches are with FL as I don't think I could've managed everything else on top of moving a 260l tank and occupants.
Have still got the fish-keeping bug and may well start again with something smaller and unlikely to grow depending on water params. But one thing at a time.
My job starts on the 1st of Sept - if I haven't moved by then (not looking likely ) does anyone around there have a sofa I could kip on?
Missing you all, hope things are going well. Will try to come on an outing if things have calmed down a bit!
