Going straight for marines is a real big jump into the deep end. It will cost a fair bit as you need good equipment.
I only keep freshwater but here is as much as I know:
You will need the following:
Tank with lights, filter, skimmer, heater,
marine salt and a refractometer to measure salinity (or a hydrometer),
a marine test kit.
You could try a plug and play kit - I think there are brands such as orca nano and also red sea max. I don't know if they'll have everything though as I've never looked into it.
