I have a 600l tank, 2x Eheim 2128's and tank temp currently 25.5C. pH is 8.5 and live in a very hard water area but have measured the hardness properly as don't have a kit. Although I have a large piece of very mature bogwood in the tank which may lower the pH, I have also got c90kg of Ocean rock in it. Tank is currently lightly stocked with juveniles of some of the more common mbuna (l. caeruleus, l. perlmutt, P. demasoni, P. crabro) whilst the filter fully matures. Will then extend the stocking with some other species, going for 1 male to 2-3 females where possible. Will also want to stock some syno petricola. Do let me know if you have any further thoughts.
