Subject: Re: Using salt in your aquarium by captk on 30/8/2005 12:49:40 Hi loachy, Don't mean to confuse you but the dosage you mentioned is the same as 0.1% salt and at that level, you can add it in one go. It is only if you need to raise it to around 0.3% then it is a good idea to increase by 0.1% every 12-24hrs. BTW, if you are used to liters and grams, the equation is a lot easier. It is 1g/L = 0.1% so a 240L tank needs 240g of salt for 0.1% concentration.  |
