Subject: Re: Has anyone got the aquamarine 900??? by alanedinburgh on 2/4/2009 14:30:42 the live rock was out of water for about 40 to 50 mins and was transported by car. loadsa stuff on it which made the water really cloudy. then when i addedd the sand it went worse but this soon settled and the water is now clear. ther was loads os skin on the surface and this eventualy has all went with the powerheads stirring it all up. im just hoping iv set up the skimmer correct coz it looks like u would need alot of waste to be being produced before it would get up to the skimmer collection cup. the cup is very low down and the airstone very high up!but still doesnt look like ther is enough water in the chamber(hope this all makes sense) so how fine should the bubbles be???? argh!!!!!!lol |
