Subject: Re: convict vs texas ciclid ? help by gwa84 on 22/10/2007 15:34:46 hi i understand and agree with what you say totaly the problem i have is i rescued the fish from a frend ho had never kept ciclids this is the texes he had it in a fish bowl one of thos biorb things and no heter i had to take it. coused a big argument but i convinced him it wasent the way to go as he wouldent spend eny more mony on it. aperantly he payed 30pounds for it and whas told it woild change colors depending on its enviroment an decor and wouldent get eny bigger the other problem i have is that my lfs wont take it of my hands as they dont do agresive fish what would be the dimensions of a sutable tank sise to keep the texas in as i can redaly bulde a tank of eny sise realy as i have acses to meny bulding suplyes and work making and welding aloy frame windows so can get the glas and have made several tanks just not majorly huge ones as of yet am i looking at more florspace agenst hiyt or other way round any info would be good i am trying my upmost to keep the texes and give it the home it deserves |
