The edges of his back fin are jagged and have white edges on them. Will Melafix be any help or do I need to get antibiotics? We have him in the tank with 4 other goldfish who are all fine and have no signs of fin rot or being ill. I read that with fin rot it eventually makes its way uo the length of fin up to the fin base... It's still way off his fin base but would like to treat it ASAP as it sounds curable. Any advice?
