He looks like an oranda They come in all sorts of colours so I guess the lemon would be a reference to the colour. But he's an oranda at heart

yes, I read your comments the other day [or was it JB?] about the head of the Oranda...you see, i didn't even know that!!

I'm trying to learn.

He is very pretty though, I do like his colouring.

Orandas always have a headgrowth If it is a full headgrowth it is a lionhead oranda. Some just have a 'cap' though such as the 'classic' red cap orandas. There's a danger of me being revealed as a total geek here What do you mean you'd already figured that out?!?
