I thought it was about time i brought all you who remember Moby and my rescue of him up to date. He moved (with a little help from me) into his new home at the end of summer 2009 into this fantastic pond. He has about 12 other Koi to keep him company. I thought he may be a little shy in his new home with new playmates but no there was no holding him. Its the best thing ever to see him free to grow to his full size.
He's definitely fallen on his fins there What a lovely result for your both, so nice to hear a happy ending
Cheers Suey, you can just see him bottom left of the picture.
Oh wow that is beautiful, Moby is one lucky little fish I keep saying if I knew someone with a lovely pond like that who would look after my single tails that I would release them too although sad for me it would be best for them so well done
Is that a duck house?!
Hi cathie, yes that is one of two duck houses. My friend Fiona whos pond it is has also had a swan house built for naomi as she wants to adopt other rescue swans to keep her company. There are also a couple of floating planted platforms for the ducks to sunbathe on, it really is an amazing place for Moby to grow.
Love it! Is your friend an MP?
