General Information: Beautiful Dwarf Angelfish with vertical dark stripes. Several colour variations exist. Can nip lps corals but otherwise suitable for most tanks.
Tank Requirements: SALINITY SG: 1.020 - 1.025 Tanks towards the minimum size can result in territorial or aggressive behaviour.
Diet Requirements: In the wild most are algae grazers with opportunistic feeding on small invertebrates (amphipods, mysis shrimp). Feed with a mix of food types and supplement with Nori.
Compatibility: Invertebrate safe and peaceful with most species. Don't mix with other Angelfish, especially not with other Coral Beauties.
Recommendations: As these fish will be wild caught expect some disease to be carried with them. Quarantine (as always) for 4-8 weeks.
Common Problems: Sensitive to pollution but otherwise problem free. Suitable for any mid-sized tank with decent husbandry.
Similar Species: There are several saltwater Angelfish that share similar characteristics.
Sexing: There is no reliable way to determine the sex of the fish from observation.
Breeding: This species hasn't been bred in captivity.
