General Information: Beautiful, unusually shaped fish. Do not be tempted to buy one for your home aquarium unless you are an expert. These are best left in the wild.
Tank Requirements: SALINITY SG: 1.020 - 1.025
Diet Requirements: Will eat some corals, inverts and anenomes. Quite difficult to feed and needs to be fed 3 times a day. Some will take small pieces of fresh shrimp, live blackworms, squid, frozen mysid.
Compatibility: Must have plenty of swimming room. It is a shy fish and will need hiding places and prefers to be with non aggressive tankmates. Can have more than one in a suitably large tank.
Recommendations: Leave to the experienced marine keeper. These are hard to maintain in captivity and can often refuse to eat leading to starvation and death.
Common Problems: Starvation. Again, specimens that thrive are the exception, not the rule...
