Diet Requirements: Varied diet, including marine meaty foods as well as herbivore preparations. Will forage in an established reef.
Compatibility: Known to be a hardy aquarium fish and can survive on their own, but prefer to be kept in pairs or in a shoal (if space allows).
Recommendations: Will do better in a community tank with other peaceful species.
Common Problems: Often confused with the almost identical Bannerfish, Heniochus acuminatus, which can be destructive in the reef tank. Watch carefully when added to the tank, to ensure they are feeding.
