General Information: A blue and yellow Angelfish, ideal for a community marine tank. Generally an insecure fish that prefers to hide in boltholes. Provide hiding places for this pretty specimen.
Tank Requirements: SALINITY SG: 1.022 - 1.026
Diet Requirements: Varied diet, including frozen preparations containing algae, as well as mysid shrimp. Feed 2-3 times daily unless the aquarium has a healthy microalgae growth.
Compatibility: Add with caution. Often nip polyped stony corals, soft corals, zoanthids and some clams. In larger tanks, will live with another species of Angelfish.
Recommendations: Add one per aquarium or a pair simultaneously. Once thought to be hard to keep in captivity, they do particularly well in a tank with an established live rock system for constant grazing opportunities.
Common Problems: Keep an eye on your reef if you value it!
