I have been taking photos with my phone up till now but I actually have a real dedicated camera. Can't believe the difference in picture quality. ![]() Bob loves to pose. ![]() These guys are more challenging subjects! I got the Danios on Monday and so far no problems at all. Bob sulked for a day or so but the two ladies have been surprisingly chilled. I feel silly for spending so much time worrying about it now o0 ![]() The two ladies squaring off. Alice is the one who looks like shes winning, the one on the right is Eve. I tried to get a photo of Chris the bristlenose but he doesn't like the auto focus. When I learn how to use the manual settings I will get him :) edit: I had to bribe him but he did eventually come out ^ |

Nikon D7000 18-105 VR Kit. Last time I had a nice camera it was an analog that's older than me so I'm on quite a learning curve here. Great fun though. Its nice to have modern gadgets like auto-focus even if I havn't quite got to grips with it yet ;)

Thanks, Ive been considering getting him a girlfriend but there's already lots of people selling fry in my area so its probably a bad idea. Shame since hes my husbands favourite fish.
Have you looked back through my brown algae issues? TBH I have no idea what 'fixed' it. I progressively lowered the photo period (although this has now gone gradually back up to 8 hours), upped the excell dose and my water chemistry has changed massively since start up due to the plants. Chris ate most the original bloom within days of being added to the tank and still keeps large surfaces nice and clean. Only a little algae left on the bits he can't get to so I guess Ive finally ridden it out. |
