Proggeto Amazono - 240 Ltr

60 Gallon tank with Microgeophagus Ramirezi, Hokeystick Pencils, Cardinals and Otts for company. The Rams were aquired from a local breeder as juveniles and are now entering adulthood. Two pairs are forming but have yet to spawn leaving two spare females. Keeping this tank over filtered and understocked for now and will see how things develop. There is an issue with live substrate pushing up the pH. Intend to rectify this with CO2 but budget does not permit and will require quite a bit of experimentation in a plastic box before I'll trust it in the actual tank. Basic plants, bog wood and inert black sand for the time being.

Ram QT - 60 Ltr
Now vacated - This is full of pot plants for the Amazon planted tank. Problems with the substrate affecting the water chemistry means that I've had to remove it so planting is on hold for now. It's also on standby for expectant parents and fry.

Old Blue - 150 ltr
Old fish house breeder, absoutely battered, lovingly resored. Home to two juvenile fancies and 5 WCMM (meteor variety) and 5 WCMM (bog standard variety).

Biorb [decomissioned] - 30ltr
The BiOrb is now surplus to requirements as far as fish are concerned but makes a pretty (expensive) lamp in the corner of my attic studio. Perhaps I'll plant it up...
