Fish to keep with a Siamese fighter male #1
Looking for advice on what to keep with a male betta
Could be a 57 litre tank or maybe a 125 litre tank
Any advice would be great

It's best to go with fish that use the bottom or middle of the tank, not the top, and stick to less colourful fish and those with no flowing fins or long tails which a betta may see as competition. Good choices include cories and otocinclus. Steer clear of tetras as they are likely to nip a betta's fins. Bear in mind that the individual personalities of bettas vary enormously. Some are fine with other tank mates, but some won't tolerate any other fish in their tank. For that reason, it's best to have a spare tank handy to separate him from the other inhabitants if he turns out to be one of those.

Hi,

If you really want betta, you can keep 1 male alone in a 45l tank.

If you want a tank with variety of fish. Don't go for betta.

If you lile betta but 1 fish is boring. You can go for female betta which are much less aggressive.

:)
