Hello all,
I'm considering a new tank, been hapopy with a nano for over a year now, but some of the tanks i'm now looking at are a bit bigger, so i though this would be the forum to ask; has anybody had any experience with these? ; http://www.acrylic-aquariums.co.uk/4.html I want a modern looking tank, and these caught my eye. Cheers John |

Hiya Smarttony.
Yeah, I'm fairly sure it'll be short on equipment, but i was balancing up the £350 for tank, plus skimmer ect, against the £500 for a red sea max (thats the BARGAIN price a shop near me has one for sale for) The red sea max really is the nicest, but also the priciest, maybe I should wait a few months, sell some stuff on ebay and treat myself. Though wether they'll still be selling them for that price or not i dont know. Cheers for the reply John |

They're pricey but look in ebay. Should get one in excellent condition like these one.

Sweet,
There was a stunning one went on ebay a few days ago, huge spec, loads of livestock / rock / coral plus all sorts of accesories, ended up going for £360!!!! complete bargain. I want a modern looking tank, so its going to be a toss up between one of those, or an orca 550, as the volume is very similar, but I do think the red sea JUST wins out on neat looks. Cheers Tony By the way, major sad on ( ) I lost one of my beloved Newcastle clowns a few weeks ago after a house move, he developed finrot, and after trying to treat for a week, he didn't make it. Really gutted, what lovely fish they are, the female is still going strong, but I wanted to ask if you think they are happier in pairs? As if they are, replacing the one I lost will be top priority.John |

Sorry to hear you lost your clown. They're happier in pair. Just get a smaller one to replace the male. My pair are doing well now they're 2 years old and in mate's 5ft tank. Good luck which ever tank you get.
