Betta with a burn on his tail #1
Hi folks, when I got home from work today I noticed what looks like a burn on Reggie's tail.
He does occasionally perch on the heater although I'm not sure that it would get that hot. The temperature of the tank is normal at 24 so no malfunction.
Readings are Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 Nitate less than 5, PH7.
The only other thing I have done in the last couple of days is put new yeast in Co2 thing.
Any input would be welcomed, milo.

Have you got a heater guard?

Might be a worthwhile investment if not, it certainly looks like a burn. The Co2 shouldn't have any real effect in normal doses.

Heater guard sounds a very wise move, especially since he could probably do with it a bit warmer, more like 26.
