None of my other fish have taken to each other like Bunker my chocolate oranda and our latest addition Noodles the orange/red oranda.
Are they getting a little frisky in this video, sorry, not sure what they do when it's that time of year! Neither have white spots on their gills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvM6ktdZAlM |

Thanks!
The other fish are cold water fish, White Cloud Mountain Minnows. They were put in the tank to help cycle it. Was going to put them back into the 18" one but they seem fine with the goldfish. Noodles did chase a couple when he was first put in there but he ignores them now. I was feeding them crushed flakes in the other tank but it was a bit messy so now they play head the ball with an Oranda Gold pellet! A also put in a large flake or two which they take turns to have a bite at. See http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk ... rticle.php?article_id=262 for more info. |

Could be romance in the water
When mine are feeling frisky they tend to stick their nose up her tail and chase her around or squash her onto the gravel. She's pretty decent about it though. When my veiltail had a crush on my old singletail (a case of mistaken identity I feel) he did a lot of sidling up to him and swimming alongside at very close quarters. Watch that space! |

I can't see any white spots though on either of their gills.
It would be nice if something did happen though, bedlam, but nice! |
