I have 3 tanks

tank 1 = 1 betta

tank 3 = 4 black molly

can I feed them all the same foods or do each species require different food?

Re: RECOMMENDED FOOD #2
Hi

Betta is carnirvore so they will need a meaty diet (Shrimps, worms,....) but keep in mind fish eat cold-blood meat only. Never attempt to feed your fish warm-blood meat.
Sometimes betta will accept pellet or flake but this shouldn't be their main food

The other fish are fine with any food. but Mollies will requires some veggetable based food too. So staple food is good as they're not picky

Re: RECOMMENDED FOOD #3
thank you.
I didnt know that about Betta and obviously the staff in Pesathome didnt either as she urged me to buy their own brand tropical fish food.

Luckily my Betta is doing fine but I will get him the correct food.

so thanks again

PS he is in a 20-liter tank and he loves it, I still get upset when I think of him and his fellow fish living in tiny 5-liter tanks, or less, in pet shops

Re: RECOMMENDED FOOD #4
20l is clearly to small for any fish.

People here usually recommend 45l for a single betta but with a lot of maintanence, a 20l should be just fine for 1 betta.

Too small tank means the water get pollute much faster with fish waste.

For other fish.... Apart from the dwarf puffer, I don't think anything else would fit a tank smaller than 45l.

Even mosquito rasbora will need a 45l minimum as they live in school.

It's really great to see people actually pay attention to welfare of fish :) Many fish keepers completely ignore this
