Disease is unlikely as they seemed well when they arrived. I think it may be down to temperature. The place they came from probably had them in much larger holding tanks at a cooler temperature and they may be struggling to cope with the warmth. Your two will be used to it and so aren't affected.

I don't know what to suggest other than keep the lights off, if you have a heater turn it off, take the lid off and increase the water flow at the surface to create some agitation. All those measures should help add oxygen and bring the temp down. If you have a fan you can direct at the water surface that may help too as will floating plastic bottles of cold water in the tank - change them as they warm up.

This is terrible :(

Any chance you have introduced a contaminent/poison to the enviroment?

Is it worth doing some big water changes?

Do you have some activated carbon for your filter? Worth a shot.

Whats the aeriation like on the tank? You have alot of fish in there now, might be worth upping the bubbles. Do you have any spare pumps etc?

i know i feel sick
poison as in what? i don't use sprays?what could poison them so bad? and why are only 3 of the new ones sick?
i was thinking that, that's why i took them out the tank into bucket just in case.
i have a waterfall filter and 2 air stones going??? surely couldn't need more than that?
tops off tank.
theres only 3 fish in tank now 2 in bucket.

Sorry that'll teach me for trying to use my mobile for FK on a train with one hand while working on my lap top with the other.

What I am saying is my and friends goldfish are all suffering in the hot weather.

I would really stop messing with them tbh, turn the lights off, open the lid to try and cool them down and leave them alone. If they are unwell or stressed moving them about is only going to make matters worse.
