I have a good local-ish stockist - has many varieties - but were talking post code HX6 3BT which may be a little too far
http://caldervalleyaquatics.co.uk/map/ Certainly many of PFK have used Star Fisheries and always seem very impressed with stock ![]() |

I've used Urmston Aquatics before (nearer to you - South Manchester way) but I have to be honest it was years ago now but their customer service was excellent and they had a good choice of stock back then (marine, coldwater and tropical). Perhaps give them a call?
Looked like a little shop from the outside but like Popeye's tent once you went in. |

Im in same position, although not got tank setup, im seeing where is best to source quality fish. Alot of places seem to have one or two tanks or fancies, but they are often of what i deem to be lower quality fish. Best place i've seen so far for choice and quality was pets at home, not usually a fan, but there cold water section in this particular store was top notch.
