It's safe and water proof. I have 2 of those like that in pink/red color. (Sorry I'm really bad at telling which color, some color just like hybrid)

The "plug" on it is a 110/240V to 12V converter. That's why you can't just change the plug as it's a 12V device. It's 2-pin as well which means plugging into a 2 to 3 pin adapter.

Jon, I have an Arcadia T8 18w single ballast, or 36/38 w t8 Single.
They are yours for free, if you cover the cost of Postage. Unless you have a 50 watt heater lying about for swapsi. |
