None of you are aware,
but I have what is now a male n female pairing,
I got them in March, swapped at the Lfs for a load of my guppy fry.
As we were never 100% sure of the sex, I decided to let them grow up in magnums tank, until I could sex them 100%.
Then decide if I was going to swap one or keep both in separate tanks
They were 2.5 inches, they are now 5 inches & 6 inches, and stunning green colour,

I decided to move them to the large tank in the lounge, after trying various plants with them, all went fine just a few holes in my swords,
Once they got to around 4 inches I decide the neons had to be moved out,

Soo anywhey after a few weeks of blood worm feeding and cold water changes, to try to get the corys to spawn.

Last week the Heros started shaking at each other, then they started to clean the top of my L201 cave, I thought nothing would come of this they are too young, oh and when I did a water change on Thursday the male had a go at biting me !
Went to do another water change last night and ohhh a clutch of eggs on the back of the cave,
Just sat here now watching mum n dad fan the eggs, they have picked a few White ones off,
Keeping fingers crossed hope they are good parents, for 1st time parents they are doing an amazing job so far,
Dad has just started digging a pit

Soon they have spawned a further 3 times since my post above, but the eggs have never made it past 36 hrs,

So I came home on Thursday, and as i predicted to fishlady there were eggs,
So Friday I decide to remove the eggs to see if I could do a slightly better job, so I moved them to the spare tank I have running which was planned for a pair of Apistos,
Mum was not impressed n has been sulking since, but still eating and slowly going back to normal,

I have been removing the white eggs since Friday n this morning I now have a mass of wriggling eggs

Yeh success so far so good

Looks like I am just as bad,

Went away for the weekend, the fry became properly free swimming and swam out of the sides of the trap, straight into the awaiting Apistos,
I know this how? I had 6 very happy fat apistos on Sunday, and an empty breeding trap.

But they have just laid another clutch of eggs so, I have a 16 ltr tank with an air powered sponge, this time..
