Just fitted a spray bar for the first time. I have angled it toward the side of the tank so it does not break up the surface as much. It seems very powerful attached to eheim 350, point is, which probably will seem thick, but will this stress my fish. Very good filter by the way,.

I had a spray bar on my filter for a couple of days. My White Clouds actually seemed to like it but I had to remove it because the constant trickling kept making me want to go to the loo

Whether or not it will stress the fish depends on the species. Some like a lot of flow and surface distrurbance (Zebra Danios for instance), other find it stressful (for example Bettas).

Thank u fishlady, that was my logic of spraying it at a downward angle of about 45 degrees, appear to be getting almost a waterfall effect, and yes as I type the danios and harlequins have found it!

If your Danios are anything like mine, now they've found it they'll spend a great deal of time "surfing" on the flow
