Right then, if you are thinking of buying a fish and/or tank as a Christmas present for your nearest and dearest then PLEASE give this article a read before you do anything. And to add to that - it'll soon be too late to cycle tanks for Christmas. Anyone wanting fish for Christmas needs to crack on now as cycles can take at least 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer so we're close to too late already

yep! :) my sister. but we are going for the give her the money approach and let her sort out the tank (with some help) and then sort out the fish, we don't want to rush any thing and take the chance of hurting a poor little fishy :(
