Does anyone have any recommendations on where I might find some nice big bits of bogwood online? eBay has mostly mopani root or redmoor root and I'd prefer bogwood. Ideally I'm after something like the piece I've already got which is about 55cm high by about 30cm wide (back right of pic below):
![]() Couldn't find anything in the lfs that I liked, they were all too small. Alternatively, if anyone is looking to sell a nice big bit of bogwood let me know ![]() |

Thanks for that
I was after something a little chunkier than the redmoor root, I know, I'm being fussy I hadn't thought of The Green Machine though, will have a nosey ![]() Quote:
It is quite nice isn't it, could just do with being a few inches bigger. That sort of thing would be pretty good in our recently acquired 13 inch cube tank though ... hmmmm .... |

Thanks FA, if you can get some pics that would be great
I've seen a couple of biggish bits on eBay that I'm watching but I'd certainly be interested in some pics of yours. I'm not really after redmoor root as the fish are too clumsy to be trusted with not getting their tails caught on any thin twiggy bits But bogwood would be good ![]() |

Morning
![]() Here's a couple of the bigger pieces. Still might not be what you're after, that chunck in your tank looks quite impressive! Ive put a top-of-the-range Bic biro in the picture to get a sense of scale. ![]() P.s. Hope everyone on FK is doing well, I havnt been on for ages. |
