Not a sure sign though jennie as males will also chase males especially in the absence of females

I was wondering. I assume it can be done but is it recommended. Cross breeding fish, would it work, and is it recommended?

When you say cross breeding I take it you mean 2 different goldfish

wouldn't think so although there is a rare and unusual black pearlscale hamanashiki with telescope eyes in my fancy goldfish book

Ok how about anything that only has 1 tailfin, is there a greater chance with that. I am really interested in this, not that I would do it, but hey, you never know.

You mean single tails the japanese have been mix breeding fish for centuries that why we have all the different types and colours, but wouldn't think you could in a home aquarium
