If anyone's familiar with my tank woes over the last couple of weeks may not be surprised that I need to put some of this in my tank. I lost pretty much all my fish and two of the remaining platys are sick and one has developed a small white growth just underneath its gill plate on the right hand side. It's not very big at the moment and I can't tell if it's fluffy yet but because i don't want it getting any bigger and/or spreading, I got some Pimafix to put in the tank. The instructions say to take out any activated carbon which I will do but it makes no mention of being harmful or otherwise to my filter bacteria.
So, the question is, will Pimafix destroy my filter and if it's likely, what can I do about it. Thanks. |

First dose in
Just a few moments after the first dose, my glowlights are shoaling and swimming together in a very natural way. I've never seen them do that before. I was worried I'd poisoned them at first and I really hope not but it's really quite beautiful at the same time. Thanks Noods ![]() |
