Sounds like they would be okay, but these things are not absolute and vary fish to fish. My advice would be to move them, but be ready to move them back v quickly if they show signs of aggression or being territorial. Make sure that there are enough hiding places for one each, and that they have bogwood to eat. I would also advise when feeding to feed in such a way so that they can each have a personal piece of whatever you are feeding, so they don't NEED to fight over food. I wouldn't worry if they do fight over food, as a lot of fish do this and this wouldn't be a reason to move them back, unless one or more was actually getting bitten. If they fight when it's not food time, then you should move them.

Hope some of my ramblings help

Hi ch

Whats the pH and GH in the 200 litre? Are the plecs suited to it? Worth checking first of course.

They'll probably be OK, but as Tom has said, it will be down to individual fish. And to a degree their temperament will be shaped by the way the tank is aquascaped and your feeding regime.

Try them but br prepared to move them. Also remember to observ after lights out!

I thought Fish INC had closed? Has it reopened?

Are you local to Fish INC then? Remember Bruce? I have him on Facebook. lol

It's a shame they closed as you'll struggle to find rarer fish in any of the other local shops. Certainly on the scale they had rare cats and cichlids anyway. And they actually gave a toss as to the quality of their central and south american cichlids which is extremely unusual these days. Lindsey himself argued that the colour, shape and finnage has been bred out of these fish over the last few decades and if you compare the quality of far eastern fish to F0 imported from Jeff Rapps or similar you'd see exactly what he meant!

They had some amazing quality Cichla in from time to time as well as a decent amount of L numbers. I used to pop in on my lunch break as my office is only 10 or 12 minutes drive from there.

What is Lindsey upto now? Do you know?
