I e-mailed the place I bought the tank from and they are gonna replace the bulb but nervous about parts in the future now cos I can't find em anywhere on'tinternet.

EDIT: after taking a gander it appears not, wrong size

charterhouse specialise in parts for orca and d+d tank, as far as I know. You may probably later on upgrade the lighting system by having the hood off and put luminaire with MH lights on which a lot are doing with the orca or d+d.Hope u get the problem sorted out.

Did you mean this one tony???

http://www.aquatics-online.co.uk/addt ... id=3932&retp=497&rets=204

Cos it sounds about right, its certainly the right wattage and length, just wonder if its the right pin connection.

Mine that is bust is also half white and half blue, presumable I need to match that and get a half/half one to replace it?

EDIT: Just spotted this one further down,

Looks about right

Yes and lfs stock these type of lights as well so pop in and take the dud light so to make sure the socket is correct which I think it would.
