Some pics of Oprah for your perusal:
(You can see a thick bone and some fine bones amongst the tissues. This is no longer the case. The bones are fully exposed now and the gill membrane is beginning to get irritated by said bones. Will get updated pics tomorrow when Bro brings camera round. 'Fungus' can also be seen are these the ones you mentioned/look typical as a side-effect of the internal problem you suspect?)

Okay, pics have not come up? What now?

Right, trash that then, can't get them into gallery either.

I had a similar problem. It worked when I posted one at a time though so maybe try that?

Hope you sort your problems with Oprah and Penfold out real soon and start to enjoy them. Poor you, you seem to be jinxed at times don't you.

Not working either.
If you scroll down you cansee 2 of the pics, but i don't think in those 2 you can properly see the fungus? But you can zoom in in them.

yup, only one attachment per post -- for picks though you can use the manager button above and post loads, but they have to be smaller (250kb)

I can see the pics in the linked thread. My goodness what a lovely looking fish your Oprah really is. If the fin is getting worse could it be fin rot? I am a bit new and clueless so can't help really, but I do hope you get this sorted out. You both need a break eh.

Its probably saprolegnia again, not at all uncommon for a fish that has gone through transit, and the previous loss of finnage could well be explained by such an infection. Its not uncommon for fish shops to put fish through treatment times that are way too short before letting them go, and it might just be an old problem having another go. treatments are stuff like malachite green and triple sulfa.

Since your having a lot of probs lately it might help you to see the disease profiles on fp, maybe its not the done thing to pass someone off onto another site, but hey, I wrote 95% of the info in them and it covers about 90% of common disease incidences, and I pick up the more unusual stuff as we get a query....

( ignore the columnaris one in favour of the flexibacter columnaris one, and whitespot ones need editing to be more precise about the relationship about the relationship between temps and treatment, theyre crap and I havent got round to correcting them yet, the rest however are pearls ;)

...and id be happy to do the same here if someone wants to set a format up so that I can contribute.

Good luck with her. ;)

Thanks, that's a good link but I am just getting more and more confused. I wishI had just listened to Eagle and not got her. I am actually quite upset that she is going to die now.

Should I just get that stuff you said about initially, linked to the white poo, the metro one.

I don't understand all these diseases and don't know what to do for the best.....
