Reputable aquarium stores will actually tell you about fishless cycling, the ones I use definitely would. But stores like Pets at Home simply either dont know or dont care.

wow long time since I've posted here but just taking a look back today.

I have generally always run external canisters on my tanks I have a 90 and 125ltr tropical setup. Whilst it doesnt add much having a reasonably sized external will bump up the quantity of water a bit which always helps with stability of the chemistry.

But also I just like having the peace of mind that the filter can very easily handle the tank size and give a decent flow for the aquariums.

hmm thats quite a tall order to get it all into a logo, but will give it a go.

I was thinking you see of a more general logo, and then you could incorporate that into different designs, such as the carnival one, but it could equally to bowls, and other things.

If you wanted a car sticker thinking of that as a circle image, it wouldnt be too hard you see, to just get a picture of a Carnival in the background, blur it a little and then put the logo over the top.

will have more of a look when i get a moment

regardless..

It might be a good idea to share resources so its easier to write letters, and get them directed to the right people. Jaguar as you clearly have all the experience on this, perhaps you could share some addresses of people who would be good to send letters to. So that we make sure they dont get lost in admin.

Also perhaps we could get together and design a Coldwater Goldfish caresheet? with all the basic info for beginners like tank size, cycling, how to care, feed, maintenence etc
I could lay this out and then we could pass it on to manufacturers and say look, all the work is done, all you have to do is put this into your boxes.

I took an hour tonight just to have a little look at this, I didnt have an copy to use for the words, so I just went with something pretty simple, I like the line you came up with tho Suey, would lend itself very well to advertisements. Im thinking already of something similar to an ad we ran at work the otherday for our marketing.

Anyway this was what I did, only an hours work tho, so its pretty basic

I would say Aza that as has been said hillstream loaches do require really specific conditions, I really would love to keep them but I cant do it until I have my own house so that I can setup a nice long tank that I want to create a river style tank in.

Keeping them together with goldfish tho I think is just a no no but maybe if you upscale your goldfish to a larger tank, you could use the smaller tank with a proper pump and rock setup with nice clean cold water, and have them there
