at what age should I take some of my baby cichlids to the local fish shop? and what age does it get more apparent to tell males and females apart?

ive always found these little beasties a joy to watch and very entertaining, however, they are multiplying significantly.im worried they will take over the tank. could anyone please tell me if they have had a similar problem and if there is anything I should/could/would do about it? I have a 120L tank in which I keep neon/glowlight/rummy nose tetras, 3 female dwarf cockatoo's,(the male recently died :( ) and their babies.

I have 3 female dwarf cockatoo cichlids. One of them had babies that are now about a month and a half old.one of the other females keeps trying to get them, now I have read that females will try and 'kidnap' another females babies but these are now quite independent although the mother still protects them if they are near but they swim all over the tank now and she cant be everywhere at once. has this other female gone cannibal and is she trying to eat them?

i wake this morning and low and behold,my dwarf cockatoo cichlids have had babies! so,any advice would be greatly received as this is a whole new ball game for me...the mother closely guards the fry who stick close to the tank bottom amongst the gravel.i have a fry net but cant see how i can get them in there as they are so small and like i said, they mingle in between the gravel. the only other fish i have in there are neon and glowlight tetras, julii cory and 2 female and 1 male cichlids.please help before i fear they all become supper to my other fishes.....
