I've noticed that there seems to be a sudden decline of the availability of good old seachem prime! I've literally run out today and headed straight to eBay but there's none on there? Is something going on that I don't know about?
So ive come here to pick the brains of Where fellow fishkeepers buy their supply from as I'm not sure where else to look, as eBay always worked out the cheapest place in my opinion..until now! Thanks |

Tittle says it all really!
Im hoping to get myself a nice tank for 2 fancys but am unsure, and have to stick to as big a tank and as good a filtration that a little under £350 will allow.. im thinking along the lines of adding another external filter, as well as the built in filter..but is it too small?? im thinking yes the more i think about it?? help greatly apriciated! |

hmmm im still having problems of sorts..
They seemed to recover after switching the co2 off completly., And for approx a week they all regained their apetite and had no more laboured breathing or lack of energy Ive noticed the females are not looking their best..im wondering if this normal when they are full of eggs and about to spawn? or if its something more sinister.. arghh i thought danios were hardy little critters!! |

Just to let you know that you were spot on with the Co2 problem and my Zebra fish. All 6 are completly bak to normal again since turning the presurised co2 off!
Ive a hughe number of spare plants now as im certain a good majority of them will soon die as they are already not looking as good as they were (slight browing of leaves) My lotus has lost quite a few leaves very quickley so need a new home for it asap! But thank you for your advise fishlady! |

You know what your tank is missing! A pleco of some description. I'd be inclined to go for a queen arabsbque or something a little different that would stand out ( I'm not entirely sure if they'd be suitable for you water parameters thou).. But an idea from someone who's drinking tiamaria a tad too earlier in the day..opps!

That article was very interesting thank you...it helps make sence of it all. Co2 free zone it is for them then! will have to rethink, replant or even rehome the crypts and fourleaf clover the tank is full of..or its a perfectly valid and good excuse for a new tank!
