Thanks for the quick reply Noodle. Luckily I live 100 yards from Wharf Aquatics and hopefully they'll take him on... or swap him for something more suitable!
Thanks again. |

Hello all,
Some time ago I inherited a Silver Shark and he's now grown to about 6" excluding caudal fin. He's housed in a Juwel Rio 240 along with three Plecs and two Synodontis (4" and 6" respectively). He seems very happy in his home but I realise he's just going to get bigger and bigger. My question is this - is he already too large to be happy in his home and if not what is the maximum size allowable assuming no more fish are added to the tank? Assuming his home is large enough, would it be wise to get him a couple of juvenile Silver Sharks for company? I realise that once they start to grow that they'll have to be removed. Thanks in advance, Nigel |
