I am bored of goldfish.

I only have a cold water tank.. can someone advise me on some pretty ones that I could get? :)

Both fish and hamster are fine, thank goodness. I was worried for a bit, was concerned the hamster would go into hibernation as it's cold out anyway.

I was sat doing some work and I heard a 'plop', so I went to investigate. My hamster had fallen into the fish tank, I accidently left the hamster cage open :(

I got the hamster out with my hands and after I have held him to warm him and rubbed him with a towel he seems ok, thankfully I was there. I should be more careful.. I am very angry with myself and if I can't be responsible enough to close the cage maybe I shouldn't have hamsters!!!

Anyway, the fish seem ok. I have done a 90% water change. Is there any extra precautions I need to take?

I just think people here dont understand that the government wouldnt let shops sell smaller tanks if they went against animal welfare thats all.

I have a 45L. I don't know what has happened to Rosie because to look at her there didn't look like there was anything wrong with her but I used the net to get her out asap because of Jim.

I had two little fishies but when I checked them one had died, RIP rosie :( Now Jim is all alone, i've changed the tank with a 100% new water supply - is that the right thing to do after a fishie dies? Also should I get another one or would they fight with Jim because he's new?

I know it's early - back from a night out but can't sleep which is unusual cos i'm usually gone as soon as my head hits the pillow when i've been drinking lol. Just a quick question - are there benefits to getting plants for my fishies other than just looking nice? Also are any plants not good for goldfish?
