I want to get rid of some snails in my frog tank,they are just small ones.

I was told to get Assassin Snails, but I haven't got any yet.

Would these help me get rid of the small ones?

I like the look of them!!

I got mum to let me back on.

I'm glad that I was brought up to NOT follow the crowd - when I was at school the other children thought I was weird!

My mum and dad take me to interesting places, and teach me about all sorts of things.

I went down a coal mine last year, and went to FishBourne Roman Palace - my friend [and his mum!] thought that was weird....they asked why on earth we would want to do that.

My mum said that it was interesting, that we learned a lot. They thought it was very strange

I want to think for myself....not just be who others want me to be.

It is hard to be different. People don't accept you always. It can be hurtful - you just have to be strong. [Thats not always easy either]

One of my favourite places is The Natural History Museum in London, and there you can see about evolution. We went to the Charles Darwin exhibition, it was really good...and I saw the dinosaurs!!!!!!

I've just seen what my mum put as a title.

What she meant was, because I just asked her, is that this site is fishKEEPING. But for some reason someone has been talking A LOT about fishKILLING and fishEATING lately.

It's a good site. I have learnt alot.

We did our first fishless cycling because of this site.

A lot of our fish are still alive because of this site.

If I wanted to go on a fish CATCHING/KILLING site I would.

It's about KILLING and HURTING defenseless fish.

I HAVE 'missed out' on eating meat and fish - thank goodness. I've NEVER eaten another [used to be] living creature.

I don't understand what you mean by 'missing out' though....it's a choice, one that I make for myself now. My mum has said that if I want to try eating flesh [my word, not hers] I can.

Why would I want to?

I like and love animals.

Why would I want to EAT one??

But, back to the thread, it's about this site....it's a FishKEEPING forum.

I'm sure there are a lot of sites on the internet that people can join and talk about killing creatures.

I don't want to look myself.

I disagree....it IS worth worrying about. Killing, hurting, damaging another living creature.

I am VERY interested in the living creatures in this world, and what people are doing to them.

My mum just told me that when she was 7 she wrote a letter to The Times against fox hunting. It must be in the blood!

I would just like to say as well that fish breed themselves. I find it very funny when people say that THEY breed fish. It's a natural thing. I'm only NINE [yay!] and I know that.

I had 6 female and 4 male Guppies in a tank.

Don't ask me how many there are now.

I didn't DO anything.

There will always be people who 'like' killing. It's a shame, but it won't change.

I LOVE dogs. Poppy is a bit like our Bobby.

We're going to get another dog, maybe next year.

My mum & dad brought me up a vegetarian...I've never eaten meat or fish....and I won't in the future.

I HATE to see people hurting animals...I watch Newsround and they have been showing the Japanese whaling...it's horrible. I don't think that fishing for smaller fish is any different to that.

My dad eats meat, and I don't like it. Mum tells me off if I say anythjing, she says that we all do what we think is right....but killing them is different.....my dad wouldn't do that.
