hello gang,
question my tank has been cycling for about 3 and a half weeks my ammonia peaked and dropped in about 3 days since then my nitrite has been at peak for about 3 weeks and nitrate have been about 10ppm for a week. I would have thought that it would have dropped by now. I was wondering would adding more source of ammonia speed to nitrite phase up. Ta |

The tank will only be housing fish no plants. I have removed one of my t5's because i couldn't get the temp of the tank to stay at a adequate temp but removing the tube has seemed to work.
Fish wise i am still researching people havin been recommending fish to me which has been really helpful, could you recommend any to me. Thanks |

Hello, i was wondering if anyone one would answer my question?
I have converted my aquareef to house my cichlids. the orginal lighting that i had with the tank is 2 t5s and 2 t8s. I have removed one of the t5's because my tank wouldnt cool below 27'c which i think is to high. So would it be worth investing in another two t8's instead. What do you guys think? |

Thanks for all the info guys greatfully received, i tested my tank water. I have just brought a p.h.reducer stuff, so hopefully that might get it down a bit. i did wash the slate in boiling hot water to sterlise it.
