The cup of tea thing works for me with Carmen who gets very cross if you move when she's settled. Mabel however would prefer you to walk around carrying her like a baby, and Gordon will always leap up to accompany whoever is going to the kitchen Just In Case.

Not quite so cold here, not much snow left, quite boring.
In a good way I suppose given what others are putting up with!

That magpie might have migrated to yours having suffered minor brain damage being dragged in and out of the cat flap here ... Though mostly we have had mice recently in protest at vets slimming diet. (I wonder if he brings me spares, reckoning times are hard for me too if he is not being fed properly?)

Up date on mag clips - they seem to have ceased trading although the website still takes orders and payment! I have just had to go through PayPal disputes procedure to get refund

I assume that is similar stuff?
Remind me, what sort(s) of algae?
I am using barely the recommended dose but I did manually remove algae first.

I love to look at planted tanks but I can't be fiddling with fancy lighting, CO2, EI dosing etc. - I like the undemanding ...
BUT I must say my temperate tank is looking greatly improved - minimal algae and lots of new growth on java fern, thanks to daily dose of Easycarbo, and it's low tech enough - even I can't complain about using a plastic pipette to add a couple of ml daily

Teenage girls seems to have the best eye for these colour gradations.
