Here's the male Borelli.  Can't decide if he should be called Sherlock or Shakespeare.  Probably Shakespeare because he's a show-off  The female's still camera-shy (but luckly not so shy of me now).

This is Phoenix, 4 months on.  Still doing well in the 40gal and now, self-appointed tank boss.  Ram with attitude - AT LAST!

Unlike Ramses, the only probem I have when it comes to feeding, is making sure the others (particuarly Zeus) get enough to eat because Phoenix is a greedy little ... darling

I'm watching Zeus for signs of subordiantion stress and/or injury, because the 2 cichlids don't get on.

This is my new male Apisto. Borelli, Zeus.  Got him approx. 5 weeks ago and for the past week, he's been trying to settle into the 40gal.  Seems to be doing well and is currently the largest fish in the tank.  Probably about 2.5-3", so I doubt he'll get any bigger.

Now he just needs a girlfriend
