It's a Aqua El bow fronted one, I think it is about 80litres or so.
Just looked at the photo, must be because of the curve but it shows 2 reflections of me taking the photo! |

Why not put a want on there?
I did and I got offered 3! Or, try an adjoining group say in the next county to you. |

Actually I have taken the backing off and put it on the 30" tank that we have in the fireplace.
The reverse is a roman ruins theme with a statue of a greek goddess. I was hoping to put this tank in the fireplace instead of the long one but is sticks out because of the curve. It is stuck in the hall now housing 5 male guppies and 4 mountain minnows! Seems a shame for it to be out of the way but we have the 120ltr Fluval in the main room as well as the one in the fireplace so space is limited. |

Poster: KrabbiePattie Posted: 17/5/2007 13:43:14 I joined the two nearest county ones but there seem to be more wants than offers, tbh I'm sick of having to scroll through 20 "Want: new computer, must be fast", "Want: Playstation 3", "Want: 3 wk Holiday in New Zealand leaving on the 12th of May" type posts to see that the only thing on offer is a second hand matress and some cuddly toys. but I digress... just a tad ![]() Whats this about a tank in the fireplace? Sounds like a fine idea - pics please! |

Oh, it's nothing flash.
When we moved in and had the central heating and gas fire annual check, we were told the fire was too powerful for the size of the flew or something like that. He said we would have to have a vent put into the outside wall which my husband wasn't happy with (he's a bit soft were drafts are concerned!) and wasn't happy. We decided to not use the fire and just put a bog standard 30" tank onto the tiles in the fireplace alcove so it blocks off the fire itself. The fish have always seemed fine in there plus you tend to look at them more when they are straight ahead of you at ground level. ![]() |
