The latest member or our fishy family.

Our 7 year old has named him Titch because he is tiny, only about 1" long.

I am wondering if he is actually a lion head see link, although his wen/hood may grow as he does

Lovely little thing, isnt he? Those Eggfish are adorable. Specially, the long finned ones.

He's very dinky but I bet he'll soon prove his name wrong

He does have a bit of a wen and some of he others he was with had slightly more developed wens but 'wonky' backs.

It is a sage green but looks white when I use the flash.

To be honest I have never had a problem with brown algae. Tell a lie, I have seen some of the markings on the silk plants change to a brownish colour but it doesn't seem like algae.

It may be because we have really hard water.

The others seem to be growing but are not too big so I am sure he will grow in time.
