the only one of them ive grown is the houttuynia cordata and thats a great plant, when it dies off in autumn/winter i prune it right down to the gravel and in the spring it grows back very well and fast, ive removed them both from there small tubs and planted them in fine gravel in a little indent in my pond as the shelf they were one isnt wide enough
